As Managing Director, I have had the privilege of leading The Ivy Collection through a period of significant commercial growth and transformative change. We have expanded to 57 locations, with ambitious plans for continued growth on the horizon. Our brand has flourished beyond London, and the ongoing evolution of Ivy Asia and Harry’s is helping to shape an exciting and dynamic future for the business.

I feel truly honoured to work in an industry that is as rewarding as it is challenging - one that thrives on diversity, passion, and teamwork. Every day presents the opportunity to do something special for someone else, and that, to me, is what makes hospitality so uniquely fulfilling.

I joined The Ivy Collection in 2014, just before the opening of The Ivy Market Grill, where I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with a small team on menu development. Over the past decade, I have witnessed the remarkable growth of the company, contributing to its expansion from a single site to over 40 locations today.

Throughout my journey, I have progressed from Head Chef to Group Executive Chef, alongside many of my colleagues who have also grown with the company. The Ivy is an exceptional place to work, filled with professionals who are leaders in their fields. I am proud to be part of a team that values excellence.

The Ivy brand has been an honour and a privilege to work on. Its iconic heritage, history and prestige makes it one of the most recognisable restaurant brands in the UK and I feel so fortunate that I get to be part of both protecting and evolving its rich DNA.  Our guests and teams alike have endless stories, memories and traditions that have all been made in an Ivy Restaurant and that makes it feel like a truly special place to work.

Since joining The Ivy, I have been astounded by the levels of expertise and  the focus on excellence ingrained into all teams in the business. It’s always such a proud moment to sit and observe service at the restaurant and the commitment and attention to detail the team display to all of our guests and their peers.

Reflecting on my past five years working as Executive Chef of Ivy Asia & Harry’s, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and pride for what we have collectively achieved across the brands. Since I joined to company in 2019, I was welcomed into a team that prioritized collaboration, excellence, and a shared passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Over the years, I’ve not only been afforded some incredible experiences in opening many restaurants both across the UK and more recently abroad in the Middle East , I’ve also grown personally and professionally in many ways.

I’m excited to see where the future takes us in terms of new openings, team development and continued incredible experiences into the next few years .

For the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of leading talent acquisition and expansion at The Ivy Collection - a journey defined by purpose, people, and possibility.

My mission was clear: to build teams that not only reflect the excellence of our brand but also the rich diversity of the communities we serve. I focused on creating meaningful, lasting change—embedding DEI into the DNA of our hiring strategy and cultivating a culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. This chapter has been about more than hiring—it’s been about shaping futures, elevating voices, and leaving a legacy of inclusion, excellence, and heart. I’m proud of what we’ve built—and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Being part of The Ivy Collection has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The brand’s strong values from genuine hospitality and inclusivity to a deep respect for heritage and uncompromising quality are not just spoken about but lived every day by our incredible teams.

One of my personal highlights has been seeing how our people consistently deliver memorable experiences for our guests, all while supporting each other with kindness, professionalism, and passion. Becoming part of The Ivy has been a life-changing experience, one that has far exceeded my wildest expectations. The Ivy has given me the chance to challenge myself, develop new skills, and shape a career I am incredibly proud of, something I never envisioned when I first began.

Working at The Ivy Collection over the past two years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The culture here is second to none - truly inclusive, supportive, and focused on growth. From day one, I’ve felt valued and empowered, surrounded by passionate individuals who genuinely care about each other and our guests. The commitment to excellence and continuous improvement makes it an inspiring place to build a career. I’m proud to be part of a team that not only delivers exceptional hospitality but also fosters a workplace where everyone can thrive.

My journey with the Ivy began in January 2018, when I was entrusted with the incredible role of General Manager in Birmingham. We launched our vibrant new team in April 2018 and persevered through every challenge until March 2020. The experience of guiding my team through lockdowns, furloughs, and the Eat Out to Help Out initiative was unforgettable. Together, we emerged stronger, excited to welcome our guests back. Since then, our team has thrived, achieving remarkable internal promotions and development opportunities; we truly built something special. In September 2023, I was honoured to take on a dream role as Operations Manager of the South West for the Ivy. I am grateful for the chance to be a creative problem solver and thrive in collaboration with our outstanding General Managers to drive our success ever forward.

Joining The Ivy Collection as part of the leadership team has been a truly energising experience. Although I’ve only been in the role a short time, the warmth and support I’ve received from the team has been exceptional. This is without doubt one of the most welcoming and collaborative environments I’ve encountered in my career.

As I focus on shaping and delivering the IT strategy for one of the most iconic names in hospitality, I’m inspired by the passion, talent, and dedication of those around me. The collective drive for excellence, innovation, and genuine care, both for each other and for our guests, makes this an extraordinary place to work. It’s a privilege to contribute to the future of such a respected brand, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

From the moment I walked into The Ivy York for the first time in 2017, I knew something special had been created. The Ivy Collection is a business that seamlessly honours the history of the first restaurant in 1917, whilst creating memories everyday, for new guests across the UK.

What makes it special for me is the opportunity to help colleagues grow and bring their best every day in an incredibly special hospitality environment, whilst supporting them in developing careers that can genuinely change their lives.
